Regeneca Worldwide announced the expansion of its voluntary nationwide recall of RegeneSlim appetite control dietary supplements to include four additional lots.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed the presence of 1,3-dimethylamylamine, methylhexanamine (DMAA), or geranium extract in an analysis. The additional four lots that are included in the recall are: Lot #823230415, Lot #EX0616r 15813, Lot # EX0616R15814, and Lot #11414re5516.

RELATED: DMAA Found in Lots of RegeneSlim Capsules

DMAA is used as a stimulant, pre-workout, and weight loss ingredient in dietary supplements. DMAA can be dangerous as it may narrow blood vessels and arteries, and can cause a rise in blood pressure or other cardiovascular problems (eg, shortness of breath, arrhythmias, chest tightening, heart attack).

Consumers who have purchased the affected lots are advised to immediately stop using the product and are to return it to the place of purchase for a full exchange. RegeneSlim supplements are packaged in 3.5" x 3" green and white sachets containing two capsules.
