Recall: Sildenafil Discovered in Dietary Supplements
SOS Telecom is voluntarily recalling 4 of their products that were marketed as dietary supplements for male sexual enhancement. The product names are, Tiger-X, Ninja-X, Ginseng Power-X, and Super Samurai-X.
The recall is due to the discovery of sildenafil, and analogs of sildenafil in the products, after they were tested by the FDA. Sildenafil is a PDE-5 Inhibitor, the active ingredient in Viagra, and it is not listed on any of the product labels. They present a risk to consumers by lowering blood pressure to dangerous levels and may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin.
The products have Lot #9236999 (1 capsule per pack/24 single packs per box), #7920888 (1 capsules per pack/24 single packs per box), #7788965 (1 capsules per pack/24 single packs per box), and #7920499. Anyone in possession of the mentioned products should stop using and/or distributing them immediately.
