Potentially Thicker Tablets Prompt Antidepressant Recall

Pfizer announced a voluntary recall of one lot of Zoloft (sertraline HCl) 100mg tablets. The recall was initiated after it was determined that a small quantity of tablets may potentially be thicker and/or overweight, which would exceed the specifications.

The affected product has Lot #M25569 with an expiration date of August 2018 and are packaged in 30-count bottles. At this time, the potential risk to the patient is considered to be low.
