Honeywell announced a voluntary recall of one lot of Eyesaline Eyewash solution as a precautionary measure due to a low risk of product contamination with Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Eyesaline Eyewash solution is used for emergency eye rinsing after an injury. K. pneumoniae is found in the normal flora of the mouth and skin but if present in the bottle, it may lead to infections in the eye that might be sight-threatening.
