Unichem Pharmaceuticals issued a voluntary nationwide recall of Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg tablets after the discovery of a Clopidogrel tablet in a bottle.

The precautionary recall is to avoid inappropriate treatment with Clopidogrel and experiencing side effects such as bleeding, bruising or hypersensitivity to the drug. The recall was also prompted to avoid missed doses of Hydrochlorothiazide, which could cause uncontrolled blood pressure and edema.
