FDA warns consumers to avoid Man Up Now capsules

The FDA is warning consumers to not use Man Up Now capsules (from Synergy Distribution), marketed as a dietary supplement for sexual enhancement, because they contain sulfoaildenafil, a variation of the active drug ingredient found in Viagra (sildenafil, from Pfizer). Like sildenafil, sulfoaildenafil may interact with prescription drugs such as nitrates (eg, nitroglycerin) and cause dangerously low blood pressure.

Consumers who have Man Up Now capsules in their possession should stop using them immediately.
