DMAA Found in Lots of RegenESlim Capsules

Regeneca announced a voluntary nationwide recall of its RegenESlim appetite control dietary supplement. Analysis of RegenESlim was found to contain DMAA (1,3-dimethylamylamine, methylhexanamine) also known as geranium extract.

DMAA is commonly used as a stimulant, pre-workout, and weight loss ingredient in supplements. This ingredient can be harmful as it can narrow blood vessels and arteries, which can increase blood pressure or other cardiovascular problems (eg, shortness of breath, arrhythmias, tightening in the chest, heart attack).
