Ocular inflammation associated with infection.
To treat eyes: 1–2 drops every 3–4 hrs, or more often if necessary. To treat lids: 1–2 drops every 3–4 hrs and rub excess around lids; max 20mL per therapeutic course.
Steroid + antibiotics.
Fungal, viral or mycobacterial infections. Uncomplicated removal of foreign body.
Corneal or scleral thinning. Glaucoma. Myopia. Diabetes. Monitor for secondary infections and intraocular pressure in prolonged use. Avoid abrupt cessation. Infants and young children. Pregnancy.
Increased intraocular pressure, cataracts, corneal perforation, optic nerve damage. May mask signs of infection. Allergic dermatitis.
