VIDEO: Coffee, Tea 'Add-Ins' Count When Counting Calories



In this study, researchers sought to find out what impact coffee and tea add-ins (ie, sugar, cream, half-and-half, honey) have on a person's daily energy/nutrient intake and how this may potentially impact their diet quality. While these add-ins may contribute to a small amount of extra calories per day, researchers say, these extra calories may add up to extra pounds in the long run.
