PRIMATENE MIST (epinephrine) inhalation aerosol by Armstrong
Primatene Mist (epinephrine inhalation aerosol) will no longer be available from Armstrong Pharmaceuticals after December 31, 2011 due to the use of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants in the inhaler. Due to their environmentally harmful effects on the ozone layer, inhalers that utilize CFC propellants are being phased out. Patients who use Primatene Mist should consult their healthcare provider and switch to another asthma medication.

Primatene Mist is indicated for the temporary relief of occasional symptoms of mild asthma.
