The PeriCoach System is now available to strength and tone pelvic muscles in women with urinary incontinence following its clearance in March 2015 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The PeriCoach System consists of a device with three biosensors that is inserted into the vagina. The strength of each muscle contraction is detected and recorded per exercise session. The data is then immediately transmitted to a smartphone over Bluetooth wireless connection. The accompanying smartphone app analyzes the results and gives an overview on patient progress.

In addition, the app sends exercise reminders to the user and her results to a clinician or pelvic health specialist. This is the only system that includes an online portal where healthcare providers can monitor patient progress.

The PeriCoach System is available by prescription and can be ordered directly at PeriCoach.com.
