Upsher-Smith announced the availability of Klor-Con Powder (potassium chloride) oral solution, 20mEq, for the treatment and prophylaxis of hypokalemia with or without metabolic alkalosis, in patients for whom dietary management with potassium-rich foods or diuretic dose reduction is insufficient.

Klor-Con Powder for oral solution has a natural orange flavor and should be diluted with 4oz of cold water or other beverage. It should be taken with meals or immediately after eating.
