Senate Releases Health Care Bill Ahead of Vote

The proposed bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act was released yesterday by Senate Republicans, with a debate and vote on the bill expected to take place on the Senate floor next week.

The nonpartisan agency The Congressional Budget Office is expected to release their own analysis of the Senates bill soon. Their analysis of the House bill – passed on May 4 – found that 24 million Americans would be uninsured with the proposed changes.
