Analgesic + diuretic.
Ibuprofen: Aspirin allergy, 3rd trimester pregnancy.
Dehydration. Hepatic dysfunction. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers. Pyrilamine: Asthma, emphysema, other lower respiratory disorders. Glaucoma. GI or urinary obstruction.
Avoid aspirin, other pain relievers. Alcohol increases risk of GI bleed (ibuprofen) or hepatotoxicity (acetaminophen). Pyrilamine: potentiates CNS depression with alcohol, other CNS depressants.
Ibuprofen: GI upset, GI bleed. Acetaminophen: hepatotoxicity (overdosage). Pyrilamine: drowsiness, dizziness, paradoxical excitation (esp. in children). Caffeine: nervousness, irritability, palpitations.
