LYSTEDA (tranexamic acid) 650mg tablets by Ferring

The FDA has approved Lysteda (tranexamic acid tablets, from Xanodyne), a non-hormonal treatment for women suffering from menorrhaghia, cyclic heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB). This approval was based on clinical trial data that demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in menstrual blood loss in women who received Lysteda, compared with those taking placebo.
