Glenmark Approved for Generic Lotrisone Cream

Glenmark has received final approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream, the generic version of Merck's Lotrisone Cream.

Lotrisone is a combination of clotrimazole, an azole antifungal, and betamethasone, a corticosteroid. It is indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections including tinea cruris, tinea corporis and tinea pedis.

Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream will be available in a 1%/0.05% strength.
