Indications for FEMSTAT 3:

Vulvovaginal candidiasis.

Adult Dose for FEMSTAT 3:

1 applicatorful intravaginally at bedtime for 3 consecutive nights; may repeat.

Children's Dose for FEMSTAT 3:

Not recommended.

Pharmacological Class:

Azole antifungal.

Warnings/Precautions:

Concomitant use of contraceptive diaphragm, condoms, or tampons: not recommended. Confirm diagnosis by KOH smears and/or cultures. If treatment ineffective, reconfirm diagnosis. Discontinue if sensitization occurs. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.

Adverse Reactions:

Vulvovaginal burning, vulvar itch, discharge, soreness, swelling.
