Indications for DOLGIC PLUS:

Tension (or muscle contraction) headache.

Adult Dose for DOLGIC PLUS:

1 tab every 4 hrs; max 5 tabs/day.

Children's Dose for DOLGIC PLUS:

Not recommended.

Pharmacological Class:

Barbiturate + analgesic.

Contraindications:

Porphyria.

Warnings/Precautions:

Drug abusers. Severe hepatic or renal impairment. Depression. Suicidal tendencies. Acute abdomen. Elderly. Debilitated. Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers: not recommended.

Interactions:

Potentiation with alcohol, MAOIs, general anesthetics, other CNS depressants. May antagonize oral anticoagulants, antibiotics, steroids, tricyclics. May cause false (+) urine test for 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid.

Adverse Reactions:

Drowsiness, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, GI upset, abdominal pain, intoxicated feeling; overdosage: respiratory depression, hepatotoxicity.
